We have been at the forefront of this work at the California State University, the nation’s largest and most diverse university system, and we are now excited to share our solutions with higher education institutions across the world.

About the Founder
Dr. Jeff Gold began his career as a bilingual public-school teacher in San Diego and has over 25 years of higher education experience in both the public and private sectors. Prior to forming Insights2Action, Jeff served as the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Success at the California State University (CSU), the largest and most diverse higher education system in the nation. In this role, Jeff led Graduation Initiative 2025, the CSU’s signature strategic effort to facilitate the path to a high-quality college degree for an additional half million students.
Jeff is widely known for his development of the nationally acclaimed Student Success Dashboard, a cutting-edge visualization tool that democratizes data and empowers faculty, staff, and administrators to better understand their impact on student success and equity. In partnership with the CSU, Jeff scaled the dashboard’s adoption across 29 universities and was awarded a patent by the U.S. Patent and Trade Office.
Jeff holds an Ed.D. in Organizational Change and Leadership from the University of Southern California, an MBA from the Escuela de Negocios Las Palmas, and a BA from the University of California, San Diego.
